I just got rid of that - I thought!

Welcome to Yeast Infection Cures!

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t think yeast infections are really one of the original Biblical plagues – like the one that didn’t get rescinded?

Seriously, “getting” a yeast infection is one of the most common female ailments on the planet. For many, the cycle of yeast infections is all to regular and way too familiar. It really does feel like a curse! You can treat it – and there are more and more treatments on the market all the time – it goes away, then it comes back, you treat it again, and the cycle continues.

In case you need a refresher on the details, here’s the scoop:

“Vaginal candidiasis is an infection of the vagina involving overgrowth of a yeast, or fungus, known as Candida. This yeast is normally present in the mouth, gut and vagina, as are a number of other organisms. If the balance of microorganisms is disrupted, as can occur with taking broad spectrum antibiotics, hormonal fluctuations, and other conditions, an overgrowth of yeast can occur. Vaginal candidiasis, often referred to as a “yeast infection,” is a common problem, affecting nearly 75% of adult women in their lifetime.” (Source: Center for Disease Control)

And it affects all you men out there as well for one big reason – you can’t stay away from us! Sexual transmission is by far the most common pathway (that’s why it shows up in your mouth and penis). And if men don’t take it seriously, they become one more link in the transmission cycle – meaning we get reinfected even though we successfully treat ourselves.

Needless to say, yeast infection cures for women and men is a growing market for one reason – we’re willing to talk about it and much more willing to seek out remedies than previously. We can thank the internet for allowing us to get informed and look for solutions in private.

In a nutshell, Yeast Infection Cures is meant to be a resource for learning more about this common ailment and making smart choice about treatment, whether that means finding reputable medical care or researching solutions on the market.

Hope it works for you…
